SYNOPSIS

ENG: The potters of red clay made the Pedreiras parish in the district of Leiria famous. The pottery will always be connected with the Portuguese traditional cuisine. While years ago there were a hundred potters in the parish, now there is only one left.

PT: Os oleiros de barro vermelho tornaram famosa a Freguesia de Pedreiras no distrito de Leiria. A sua loiça está para sempre ligada à cozinha tradicional Portuguesa. Onde antigamente havia uma centena de oleiros na freguesia, agora resta apenas um.
